The Joslyn Center is a vital and active gathering place. We would invite you to call or come by for a tour. We try very hard to have activities for people of all skill and ability levels. We strive to provide a balance between crafts, cards, exercise entertainment and education. you will find the staff available to talk with you and assist you in finding activities that meet your needs. We can help you with referral to other social service providers or we can put you to work in one of our many volunteer jobs. you can come for the day or just one activity. We open at 8 AM and have lots of activities running through the day. We hope to see you soon.

About the Joslyn Center
The Joslyn Center is a nonprofit, community organization providing programs, services and activities for adults 50 and better in Indian Wells, Rancho Mirage and Palm Desert.

Located in the heart of the Cove Communities, Joslyn's 80+ weekly programs and activities are designed to enhance the dignity of our seniors, support their independence and encourage their active involvement in both our Center and the community at large. By offering classes, activities and services of varying physical and mental involvement, we seek to meet the needs of all our valuable members, regardless of their lifestage and interest level. It is also our goal to keep our fees and dues appropriate and affordable for all of our members; as such, almost half of our programs are free and scholarships are available to those who qualify.

The center is open six days a week; Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM and Saturday from 9:00 to 4:00. Sunday we are closed.

Membership
Each day, an average of 400 - 500 people visit Joslyn. Our 3,900+ members range in age from 50 to 105 and are a combination of snow-birds and year-round residents. Membership dues are only $30 annually and allow members to participate in all the Center's activities as well as provide discounts to all our fee-based activities. All adults over 50 are eligible for membership and may be residents of any city.
