The Joslyn Senior Center is a very busy place. Our equipment and materials get lots of use and need to be replaced periodically. We would be happy to talk with you if you have a special interest or would like to make a memorial gift. We would welcome the opportunity to work with schools, churches or service clubs to make some of these wishes come true.

PHONE SYSTEM:
We would like to upgrade or replace our old phone system to allow for direct inward dialing capability.

NETWORK SERVER:  Hearfelt thanks to the Auen Foundation for fulfilling this request!
Our network server is old and slow and doesn’t allow us to run Microsoft Small Business Exchange which has many advantage for our small group.

REPLACEMENT COMPUTERS:
Three of our staff use computers that are 7 years old. Even for the lightest office work they are slow and beyond being upgraded.

FLOOR SCRUBBER:
We currently use an outside vendor for all floor finishing and scrubbing. This is expensive. Even a used srubber would meet our needs. We have over 5000 square feet of ceramic tile and this would make maintenance much easier.

LOBBY FURNITURE:
The lobby furniture needs to be reupholstered or replacement. The chairs receive hard use and are more than 10 years old and they were used when we got them.

LANDSCAPING:
The Joslyn sits on nearly 3 acres of property. About half of it is grass. We think that the Center would be an ideal place to serve as a model to others of proper desert landscaping. This project could easily be broken into several smaller projects based on the wishes of the donor.
